Dr. Chetali Samant is a M.D. in Ayurvedic Medicine in India (double gold medalist). She is an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine and Research - Bangalore and has years of experience practicing Ayurvedic Medicine and writing about it on various online forums.

About the Event

The pandemic has made us think about health and life a bit more carefully. Ayurveda is the ancient Indian medical science. Indians have always practiced this science for centuries. The west initially looked at with skepticism but over years the modern western science has shed more light on validity of Ayurveda and it has been embraced by people all around the globe.

In this talk you will get an opportunity to hear from Dr. Chetali about the basics of Ayurveda, its history, roots, texts and methodology. In the context of pandemic we will understand why Ayurveda is relevant in 2020 despite being as ancient as Indian culture itself.
